Innovision '09-'10, the Annual Technical Festival of  NSIT, is going to be held from 29th to 31st January, 2010.

To give a kick start to Innovision '09-'10, pre-fest workshops on various topic like Robotics, Virtual Implementation, Ethical Hacking etc. are being organized all over the country in some select institutes.

We are proud to announce that one of our alumni, Pranav Bhasin (COE, 96 batch) has been shortlisted among Top-25 Business Week Asia's Best Young Entrepreneur 2009. His team is building lifeblob (http://www.lifeblob.com) and is the only Indian company in the shortlist.

Bhasin's idea was to build an interesting medium to meet new people, find interesting trivia around your activities, and build loosely connected communities around a cause. From its headquarters in Bangalore, Lifeblob is a place to share experiences, memories, and events with friends through photos and videos. For instance, the social networking site allows people to share photos and content related to trips they have made with their friends. Bhasin's start-up deals with the way events in people's lives relate them to other people, places, and interests, as presented on an interactive rich-media timeline.
