Reminisce is NSIT's latest attempt at forming an alumni platform, an attempt long cherished, and also most potent right now. What we have attempted through this magazine is to bring to you, the student, the experience and expertise of several of our alumni already working in the fields that we, the students, intend to enter. The magazine is organized in the form of various interviews, divided into five sections based on field of expertise, all following a simple question and answer format. But we do we have articles once in a while, just to keep the monotony away. Here's what you always wanted to ask the alumni but never had the chance to!
It was a marathon effort compiling this magazine to bring it to your hands, and there were several roadblocks that we faced along the way, not least of them in the sponsorship department! Recession is making inroads everywhere, and it seems there is no aspect of our lives that will escape its frigid arms. It was disheartening certainly, but we, Team Reminisce, decided this was not a reason to give up. We searched and we lurched, we parried and were harried, but finally we found a haven provided by- you guessed it- our alumni. Its efforts like these, in such trying times, which make us appreciate how blessed we are to have seniors, who are ready to help out their juniors in any possible way, on any possible day. We can only hope that when our time comes, we prove to be just as worthy to our juniors as our seniors have been to us.
It would be unworthy of us if we did not mention the heartwarming support we received from our eminent director, Dr Raj Senani, who proved to be a pillar of guidance and strength. We are most indebted to Dr. Duru Arun Kumar for her invaluable advice and encouragement.
